Our fearless leader, Randall Boyd, has announced his decision to retire in September. Randall has served as CEO and COO of Guckenheimer since 2012, and he has overseen the successful integration of the company into ISS since its acquisition in 2017. We are all exceedingly grateful to Randall for his leadership, mentorship and steadfast commitment to Guckenheimer.
Thanks to Randall’s vision and support for our team, Guckenheimer is experiencing unprecedented success in our business and in our ability to innovate. Randall’s chapter in the Guckenheimer story is an inspirational tribute to our founders, Dr. and Mrs. Ritchie. The Ritchies’ generous spirit can still be felt in our cafés today. Randall built the team, called the plays and won the game for Guckenheimer and our clients! (And Randall loves a good sports analogy.)
To guide us in the next phase of our journey, Helene Kennan has moved from Chief Innovations Officer into the role of CEO. She is committed to continuing our legacy of great food and warm hospitality, produced and served by amazing people. We will not waiver from our strengths. We will build on those strengths to fortify customer relationships, attract and retain top talent, create new opportunities for everyone in the ISS Guckenheimer organization.
Paul Fairhead will support Helene as COO. Paul has been with ISS since 2008, and he has been working with the Guckenheimer team since the ISS acquisition in 2017. Helene and Paul have many years of managerial and operational experience in all areas of corporate dining.
All of us at ISS Guckenheimer are taking a moment to reflect on our past success as we honor our founders and our leader. We are excited to boldly move forward into the future. We have tremendous possibilities in store for all of us.
